SUMMARYĀ Ā 

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive who is responsible forĀ Ā 

providing overall management for large civil infrastructure projects, leading the project team, and ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assisting operating groups with winning work. This individual will have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Ā

RESPONSIBILITIESĀ 

  • Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationshipsĀ 

  • Conduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-outĀ 

  • Preview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal processĀ 

  • Act as primary customer contact for assigned projectsĀ 

  • Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationshipsĀ 

  • Provide oversight and accountability for large projectsĀ 

  • Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoicesĀ 

  • Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable deliveryĀ 

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project teamĀ

QUALIFICATIONSĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent fieldĀ Ā 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction management overseeing large projectsĀ Ā 

  • Civil infrastructure experience required

  • Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projectsĀ 

  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksĀ 

  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesĀ 

  • Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.Ā 

  • Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsĀ 

  • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesĀ Ā 

  • Current driver’s licenseĀ

The base pay range for this role is $168,100 MIN - $252,200 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Ā

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.Ā Ā Ā
