Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

 

Entarian is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support agile delivery teams executing complex technical programs in defense and federal environments. The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing execution blockers, coordinating sprint-level planning activities, and ensuring disciplined execution across engineering and operations teams. This role supports delivery teams working on mission-critical systems and serves as a key coordination point between technical staff, program management, and stakeholders.

 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting agile development or hybrid delivery environments involving space systems, ground infrastructure, mission operations, communications networks, cloud platforms, or enterprise IT systems.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team activities to ensure sprint objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Track action items, risks, dependencies, and blockers, and drive resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support backlog refinement activities in coordination with product owners and technical leads.
  • Maintain sprint-level reporting, dashboards, and status updates for program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication flow between engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and program management teams.
  • Support task tracking, work-flow management, and documentation using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement across delivery teams.
  • Coordinate scheduling of technical meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Ensure team adherence to agile processes while supporting hybrid delivery environments as required.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure execution discipline across program activities.

Salary range: $112,000.00 - $138,000.00

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred depending on program requirements).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or similar role supporting technical teams.
  • Experience supporting agile or hybrid agile/waterfall delivery environments.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar agile/project management tools.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience tracking program tasks, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power-Point, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% to support customer locations, planning events, and program activities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, U.S. Space Force, NASA, or other federal programs.
  • Experience working in software development, DevSecOps, systems engineering, or mission operations environments.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting SAFe or scaled agile frameworks in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, change, problem management) and ServiceNow or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting classified programs or secure development environments.
  • Strong background in meeting facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and delivery governance.
  • Experience working in hybrid technical delivery environments with engineering and operations teams.
