Job Description

As a Security Officer High End Retail in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a luxury retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding service to guests, associates, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, potential theft, or policy violations; report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and maintain professional communication with store leadership, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
