What does your day/week look like?  You will create detailed cartographic products with complex feature labeling utilizing Esri ArcGIS Pro. Manage datasets in geodatabases. You will work with and mentor junior to mid-level GIS Analysts. Perform routine and complex GIS analysis to support mapping projects. You will create and maintain ArcGIS Server web services. You will peer review all maps/data produced by the team ensuring compliance with technical directives and standard operating procedures. Participate in field sampling events throughout EPA Region 8 (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Dakotas). What do you need for this amazing opportunity?  A bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Geology, Computer Science or a related science field A professional GIS certification (Esri ArcGIS, GISP, USGIF GEOINT, or equivalent) Legal U.S. citizenship, with ability to obtain and maintain state and federal security clearances Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Good written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs A valid driver’s license and safe driving record Sound good?
