Product DepartmentÂ
The Product team at Vantage defines and stewards our global product platform: the customer outcomes we aim to deliver, the reference designs and standards that make delivery repeatable, and the closed-loop learning that turns each deployment into an upgrade for the next. We do this in partnership with Engineering, Delivery, Operations, Sustainability, Sales, Site Selection, and Business Development, aligning priorities and trade-offs while preserving clear functional ownership for design execution, construction delivery, and site operations. Product’s role is to create clarity, consistency, and leverage at Vantage scale.Â
Position overviewÂ
This role will be based in Denver, CO
The Senior Principal Product Manager, Global is a company-level product leader responsible for defining and advancing Vantage’s most critical global infrastructure platforms as a cohesive, integrated portfolio.Â
This role operates beyond individual platform ownership, shaping how products work together as a system, influencing enterprise investment, and aligning Vantage’s roadmap with long-term shifts in technology (chips, density), energy, and customer deployment models.Â
This role functions as a Product Senior Individual Contributor, setting direction at the enterprise level without formal organization ownership.Â
What You OwnÂ
1) Portfolio-Level Product StrategyÂ
Define a multi-year product portfolio strategy across major platforms (e.g., FLEX, FORGE, APEX)Â
Shape how platforms interoperate as a system (not standalone solutions)Â
Align product direction with:Â Â
AI infrastructure evolution (accelerators, density)Â
Energy constraints and availabilityÂ
Global deployment modelsÂ
2) Enterprise Decision FrameworksÂ
Establish company-wide product governance models, including:Â
Standards vs. variants strategyÂ
Lifecycle and release frameworksÂ
Technology readiness and adoption thresholdsÂ
Enable repeatable, scalable decision-making across regions and teamsÂ
3) Capital & Investment AlignmentÂ
Act as product authority in capital planningÂ
Influence where and how Vantage invests (product, region, capability) and tradeoffs across cost, lifecycle value, and riskÂ
4) Cross-Platform System IntegrationÂ
Ensure alignment across core systems:Â
Power architecture evolutionÂ
Cooling strategies (air to liquid transitions)Â
Modularization /Â DfMAÂ approachesÂ
Drive system optimization vs. local optimizationÂ
5) Market & Customer LeadershipÂ
Engage directly with hyperscale customers and partners to:Â
Anticipate future requirementsÂ
Co-develop next-generation deployment strategiesÂ
Represent Vantage in defining the future of AI infrastructureÂ
6) Regional Product Enablement and Feedback IntegrationÂ
Drive alignment between global product intent and regional execution, reducing drift and enabling scalable deployment consistencyÂ
Establish and operate closed-loop feedback mechanisms to capture insights from deployment, commissioning and operations, translating on-the-ground insights into product refinementÂ
Ensure field learnings are incorporated as systematic product evolution, not one-off local adjustmentsÂ
7)Â Advanced Technology IntegrationÂ
Partner closely with Advanced Technologies to translate emerging innovations (e.g., AI accelerators, power architectures, cooling systems, energy solutions) into the core product portfolioÂ
Ensure new technologies are integrated as repeatable, governed platform capabilities—not one-off exceptionsÂ
Align technology development with product roadmap priorities, capital deployment, and global scalability requirementsÂ
What Success Looks LikeÂ
Portfolio coherence: Platforms operate as an integrated systemÂ
Capital efficiency gains: Measurable improvements in cost, speed, and scalabilityÂ
Technology leadership: Proactive positioning vs. reactive adaptationÂ
Global consistency: Reduced exceptions and regional divergenceÂ
Executive adoption: Product strategy actively drives enterprise decisionsÂ
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Define and own portfolio-level product vision and roadmapÂ
Establish cross-platform integration strategy and standardsÂ
Drive tradeoff decisions across cost, performance, risk, and scalability Â
Create and enforce global product governance modelsÂ
Translate deployment, commissioning, and operational learning into systemic product improvementsÂ
Influence executive and cross-functional stakeholders through clear decision frameworksÂ
Â
QualificationsÂ
10+ years of experience owning complex infrastructure platforms or systemsÂ
Demonstrated leadership of multi-product portfolios OR enterprise-scale system architecturesÂ
Deep technical fluency in infrastructure systems: Power, cooling, modular construction, or related domains Â
Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and translate technology disruption into product strategyÂ
Track record of delivering improvements in cost, schedule, scalability, or adoptionÂ
