Position responsibilities
•    The Senior Claims Consultant provides specialized claims consulting services for Lockton Clients with complex programs involving multiple lines of property coverage
•    The individual is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and managing claims programs, and advocates for exceptional claims outcomes for property claims for existing Lockton clients and participates in the sales process for prospective Lockton clients
•    Evaluate prospect and Client’s existing claim programs to provide recommendations for improvement
•    Analyze claim data, generate findings, and recommend a service plan and strategy for enhanced claim management that aligns with prospect and Client’s risk management objectives and other Lockton Risk Services strategies
•    Develop, implement and oversee Claims Management programs, holding vendors and stakeholders accountable for outcomes
•    Function as liaison between Clients and insurance carriers, advocating for the best outcome for the Client
•    Travel to Client, Carrier, and/or TPA locations as needed
•    Collaborate with Producers and Client Service Teams in preparing responses to broker RFP’s for prospective clients
•    Participate in the sales process with Producers, providing pertinent Claims Service marketing input and attending prospect meetings and presentations
•    Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed

Position qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business or related field required. Advanced degree in business, insurance or law preferred
•    A minimum of 15 years of practical insurance claim management experience required
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
•    Extensive knowledge of the practices and procedures of Third-Party Administrators, and the skill to effectively develop long term partnerships that meet client expectations and needs required
•    Understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations
•    Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
•    Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
•    Legally able to work in the United States

 

This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
