Position Summary

As a Software Solution Consultant, you will partner with healthcare Customers to successfully implement and adopt STERIS SPM. Working closely with Implementation Project Managers and Customer stakeholders, you will configure software based on operational needs, deliver end-user training, support go-live activities, and provide post-implementation support. This role combines technical aptitude, Customer-facing consulting, training, and problem-solving to ensure Customers achieve their desired outcomes and maximize the value of the software solution.

What You'll Do as a Software Solution Consultant

  • Partner with healthcare Customers to understand their workflows, operational goals, and implementation requirements.
  • Configure software solutions to align with Customer processes and best practices.
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot hardware including PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, document scanners, and related peripherals.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and help translate Customer requirements into system configurations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for managers, super users, and frontline staff.
  • Facilitate on-site and virtual training sessions before and during implementation.
  • Lead or support Customer go-live activities, including user support, issue resolution, and adoption monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and workflow-related issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Provide post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption and system performance.
  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while meeting project timelines and Customer expectations.
  • Document implementation activities and maintain accurate records within CRM systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance implementation processes and training materials.
  • Travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada to support Customer implementations and training.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant professional experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to travel up to 75% annually throughout the United States and Canada.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a Customer-facing environment
  • Experience delivering software training to end users and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of tracking software and related hardware components
  • Experience working with software, networking, hardware configuration, and troubleshooting.

 

Preferred:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Healthcare Sterile Processing, Materials Management, Perioperative Services, or a related healthcare environment.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Prior implementation consulting or Customer success experience within healthcare or SaaS environments.

Pay range for this opportunity is $79,000 - $95,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
