Role Summary

We are seeking a Solutions Architect Senior Associate to lead the development and delivery of technical solutions across the Rowan project portfolio. This role is a key part of the technical team, driving solution design and cross functional coordination from early planning through implementation.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in technical problem solving, solution design principles, and modern infrastructure or cloud鈥慴ased technologies. This role will independently manage a variety of efforts including, submittal review, progress construction drawing review, and site鈥憇pecific building solutions. While experience in data centers or industrial environments is beneficial, it is not required. Candidates with broader technology, engineering, or architecture backgrounds who are eager to take on complex solution鈥慸esign work are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, a customer-oriented mindset, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and the capability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Comfort navigating ambiguity, mentoring junior team members, and working effectively in a fast paced, cross鈥慺unctional environment is essential.

Travel: Ability for up to 25% travel to company gatherings or to project sites

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid); Will consider remote candidates with strong qualifications

Compensation: $75,000-85,000

Essential Responsibilities

路 Lead the coordination of A/S/MEP design activities with external engineering consultants and ensure cross鈥慸iscipline design alignment.

路 Gather and document customer A/S/MEP requirements in partnership with the Solutions Architect Team, driving clarity and completeness.

路 Provide onsite leadership during construction to verify architectural and structural work aligns with design intent.

路 Drive collaboration with design and construction teams to address site鈥憇pecific challenges and improve constructability.

路 Oversee the coordination of construction documents prepared by third鈥憄arty design consultants.

路 Identify and manage project risks throughout the lifecycle, developing mitigation strategies and escalating as needed.

路 Lead the development of engineering standards, documentation, and team processes.

路 Provide technical data and documentation to the Commercial team and program managers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.

路 Lead the review and processing of design submittals to ensure compliance with Rowan standards and project requirements.

路 Manage progress construction drawing reviews, providing detailed feedback on design development and coordination across disciplines.

路 Drive the development of site鈥憇pecific building solutions that address unique project conditions, local code requirements, and customer needs.

路 Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on technical standards, design processes, and professional growth.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Accredited professional degree in Architecture. Other related fields may be considered. Professional licensure (RA/PE) required, or AIT/EIT with active pursuit of licensure. Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

2-3 years of hands鈥憃n experience overseeing architectural design and construction activities in the field with strong knowledge of building systems best practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

路 Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, REVIT, NAVISWORKS, and Blue Beam Revu.

路 Knowledge of A/MEP design and construction practices and processes required.

路 Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines.

路 Knowledge of QA/QC and specification processes.

路 Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate large teams and consultants.

路 Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner both verbally and in writing.

路 Experience communicating with senior leaders and executives at all levels of the organization.

路 Strong analytical and problem鈥憇olving skills.

路 Ability to work effectively in a fast鈥憄aced, and highly cross鈥慺unctional environment.

路 Ability to work with little oversight. The Rowan team collaborates constantly; however, the successful candidate should be comfortable working independently.

路 Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions.

路 Ability to make decisions under challenging circumstances.
