Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking an experienced, highly organized Commissioning Project Specialist to support the commissioning team throughout the lifecycle of hyperscale and mission critical data center construction projects.
This position combines commissioning coordination, CxAlloy administration, project documentation, and quality control. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience supporting commissioning activities and a strong working knowledge of CxAlloy and commissioning workflows.
The Commissioning & CxAlloy Project Specialist will work closely with Commissioning Managers, Construction Managers, General Contractors, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, vendors, and Owner teams to ensure commissioning activities, documentation, testing records, deficiencies, and turnover deliverables are accurately tracked and completed on schedule.
The ideal candidate understands the commissioning process not just document control and can effectively use CxAlloy to support project execution, testing, issue management, reporting, and closeout.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% for company gatherings or to project sites.

Compensation: $110k - $125k (Offers Bonus)
Essential Responsibilities
Commissioning Coordination
Support commissioning activities from project kickoff through final turnover and closeout
Coordinate and maintain commissioning documentation, records, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Track Pre-Functional Checklists (PFCs), Functional Performance Tests (FPTs), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), deficiencies, issues, and commissioning closeout documentation
Coordinate the collection, review, and tracking of commissioning documentation from Commissioning Agents, contractors, vendors, engineers, and project teams
Monitor commissioning deliverables, testing status, deficiencies, and documentation deadlines
Support Commissioning Managers in preparing for commissioning activities, testing events, meetings, and project milestones
Maintain commissioning turnover packages and documentation required for Owner acceptance
Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent commissioning documentation and coordinate resolution with responsible parties
CxAlloy Administration & Project Management
Serve as a primary CxAlloy user and project administrator for assigned commissioning projects
Create, configure, organize, and maintain commissioning project information within CxAlloy
Upload, review, organize, and maintain commissioning documentation and test records
Manage commissioning workflows, checklists, issues, deficiencies, testing status, and project records in CxAlloy
Maintain accurate project dashboards, reports, logs, and status information
Generate CxAlloy reports for Commissioning Managers, project leadership, Owners, and other stakeholders
Assist with developing and maintaining standardized CxAlloy templates, workflows, and commissioning documentation processes
Support project teams with CxAlloy training, user support, and troubleshooting
Help ensure CxAlloy data accurately reflects current project status and commissioning progress
Project Coordination
Coordinate with Commissioning Managers, Construction Managers, General Contractors, Engineers, Owners, vendors, and other project stakeholders
Attend commissioning and project coordination meetings and document action items, decisions, and follow-up requirements
Track outstanding documentation, deficiencies, testing requirements, and other commissioning deliverables
Communicate status, schedule impacts, and outstanding requirements to the appropriate project stakeholders
Support commissioning schedule updates and project reporting
Assist with coordination of commissioning activities across multiple projects and project teams
Procore & Document Control
Coordinate and manage commissioning-related documentation within Procore, ensuring records remain current and aligned with project requirements
Utilize Procore for document management, submittals, RFIs, drawings, project correspondence, and other project records
Coordinate information between Procore, CxAlloy, and other project management systems as required
Maintain organized electronic project records throughout the construction and commissioning lifecycle
Quality Control & Closeout
Review commissioning documentation for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements
Perform quality checks on commissioning records before submission or project closeout
Track and verify completion of commissioning deficiencies and outstanding documentation
Ensure commissioning records comply with Rowan standards, Owner requirements, and project-specific procedures
Support development of final commissioning turnover packages
Assist with lessons learned, process improvements, and standardization of commissioning documentation and workflows
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience supporting commissioning activities, preferably within data center, mission-critical, industrial, or commercial construction environments
Hands-on experience using CxAlloy for commissioning project management, documentation, checklists, issues, testing, reporting, or related workflows
Demonstrated understanding of the commissioning process and the role of commissioning documentation throughout a project lifecycle
Experience working with commissioning agents, contractors, engineers, vendors, construction teams, and/or Owner representatives
Experience tracking commissioning deliverables, deficiencies, testing activities, and project closeout requirements
Working knowledge of Procore, including document management, submittals, RFIs, drawings, and project correspondence
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction and commissioning environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center commissioning projects
Experience with commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and other critical infrastructure systems
Practical knowledge of Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and data center commissioning methodologies
Experience with Pre-Functional Checklists (PFCs), Functional Performance Tests (FPTs), system-level testing, and commissioning turnover
Experience coordinating commissioning documentation between CxAlloy, Procore, and other project management platforms
Experience developing CxAlloy templates, workflows, dashboards, or reporting tools
Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
