What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the design team, including graphic designers, UX/UI designers, and other creative professionals
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Oversee the creation of design concepts, prototypes, and final deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective communication of the brand message
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Ensure all design materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the design process
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design projects
  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and clients

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ Years of experience in substation physical design
  • Knowledge of NESC and NEC when designing substations. Example might be clearances and conduit fill awareness
  • Experience with utility process and standards is preferred
  • Experience with Auto Cad, MircoStation and other 3D software is a bonus
  • Ability to lead their portion of the project with minimal oversight
