About this job:
 
Will support the Video Production instructor in instructional and administrative duties, for the Multimedia & Video Production Program at one of the Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) campuses. This role will provide hands-on assistance in video production classes, program development, student support, equipment management, and day-to-day operations.

What You'll Do:

•    Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of video production equipment, studio spaces, and editing labs 
•    Capture video on the Denver Public School (DPS) and Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) campuses for purposes of creating a Work-Based Learning library for the (Multimedia and Video Production Program) MVP program including video media to later edit into tutorials and short documentary content 
•    Potential editing assignments using media captured on the Denver Public School (DPS) and Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) campuses 
•    Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of equipment 
•    Participate in program marketing efforts, including creating promotional videos, social media content, and other outreach materials 
•    Uphold and model classroom discipline and school policies to create a supportive and effective learning environment 
•    Assist in Work Based Learning (WBL) initiatives developing Multimedia solutions for other Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) programs 
•    Other duties as assigned related to program support, curriculum development, and student success initiatives

 
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED minimum required
  • Must be currently enrolled as a student at Emily Griffith Technical College with eligibility for Work Study employment.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. 
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.  
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
