Position Summary The Vertical Transportation Specialist ensures the safety, performance, and compliance of elevator, escalator, and lift systems across a multi-state region. This role provides technical oversight, supports inspections and modernization efforts, and ensures alignment with national codes and GSA standards. Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance on vertical transportation systems Conduct QEI-certified inspections and ensure ASME/ANSI compliance Review maintenance, inspection, and condition reports Support repairs, upgrades, and new installations Maintain asset inventory and performance tracking (NCMMS) Analyze system performance and recommend improvements Coordinate with contractors and resolve service issues Support planning and execution of capital projects   QualificationsQualifications QEI Certification (NAESA or equivalent) required Strong knowledge of elevator/escalator codes and standards Ability to analyze technical data and system performance Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience: U.S. Citizen Bachelor’s degree preferred 5–10 years of vertical transportation experience Why Choose MIRACORP?
