This position willĀ sitĀ in ourĀ Denver officeĀ

Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims andĀ agencyĀ charges of discrimination.Ā 

  • Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.Ā 

  • Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.Ā 

Ā 

Skills and Educational Requirements:Ā 

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.Ā 

  • 3-5Ā years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred.Ā 

  • ActiveĀ ColoradoĀ bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.Ā 

  • Understanding ofĀ current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.Ā 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ā 

  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Ā 

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ā 

  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Ā 

  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along withĀ abilityĀ to work independently on various projects.Ā 

Ā 

For Colorado, the expected salary range for this position is betweenĀ $165,000 and $180,000. This position is also eligible forĀ annual bonuses. The actual compensation willĀ beĀ determinedĀ based on experienceĀ and other factorsĀ permittedĀ by law.Ā Ā Ā
