We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or unlicensed therapist (CAS, LPCC, ADDC, etc.) to join our team and support clients in their recovery journey. The BHT plays a vital role in providing direct care, structure, and behavioral support to individuals participating in substance use disorder and mental health programming.

This position requires professionalism, empathy, and consistency in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment while working closely with clinical and support staff.

Schedule:

Full-time days - 4-10hour shifts OR 5-8hr shifts
Pay: $23-26/hr/DOE


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, and crisis intervention for clients in residential or outpatient settings.
  • Model and encourage healthy coping, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
  • Monitor client participation in programming and document observations in accordance with Medicaid and agency standards.
  • Assist with group facilitation, community activities, and implementation of treatment goals.
  • Conduct safety checks, enforce program rules, and promote accountability within the therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding client behavior, progress, and concerns.
  • Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Qualified Behavioral Health Aide (QBHA) certification or possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field.
  • Experience working in behavioral health, recovery, or residential settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and boundaries in high-stress situations.
