This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Type: PRN

Location: Lakewood, CO

Shifts: PRN

Pay: $35 - $43 per hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Give prescribed medications, injections, and manage IV therapy.

  • Provide wound care, perform therapeutic treatments (range-of-motion), and operate medical equipment.

  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with doctors and staff.

  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists).

  • Maintain accurate, thorough patient charts and medical records.

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate, appropriate care.

  • Record detailed medical histories, symptoms, and observations.

  • Check vitals, observe changes in condition, and conduct regular health assessments.

Qualifications

  • Valid CO Licensed Practical Nurse license.

  • Able to effectively communicate with IDT members, residents, and family members.

  • Prior work in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile processing procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
