QualDerm Partners is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Denver, NC. Our practice specializes in comprehensive skin and aesthetics wellness services, including dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant at our Denver location, you will be a vital member of the clinical team, assisting physicians and enhancing the overall patient experience. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording comprehensive medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are ready.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Schedule patient appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
  • Educate patients about treatment plans, medication administration, and skincare practices.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with required medical supplies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software is beneficial.
