Total compensation = $20.00-$23.00 per hour (includes base + tips)

Waffle Cone Artist Role Responsibilities:

Execute high-quality waffle cone production standards while ensuring established par levels are met
Manufacture cone batter from scratch using a commercial mixer
Cook and hand roll waffle cones and waffle bowls by operating up to four waffle irons at one time, ensuring each cone meets company standards
Dip and decorate waffle cones with chocolate & candies while meeting speed and quality metrics
Generate positive customer interactions while producing cones in a highly visible “waffle cone theatre”
Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout the facility to meet or exceed food safety requirements as established by local and state health departments and industry best practices
Assist the retail department with other food preparation tasks when necessary
Track product and ingredient waste; follow company recipes and SOPs to ensure accurate food costs
Participate in and contribute to regular staff meetings

Some foodservice experience preferred
Must be 16 or older
Passionate about customer service
Comfortable working in warm, humid conditions
Comfortable working with hot waffle irons

Physical Requirements:

Move, traverse or remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
Work in a consistently hot, humid environment
Constantly use manual and automatic food service equipment, including hot waffle cone irons
Regularly move up to 25 pounds for a distance of 50 feet or more
Occasionally move up to 50 pounds for a distance of 25 feet or more
Regularly move up to 200 pounds with assistance (e.g., via hand truck, cart, dolly) for a distance of 100 feet or more
Frequently retrieve items above shoulder height and/or clean items above shoulder height
Occasionally ascend/descend ladder to clean or lift items stored above
Occasionally position self to clean, maintain equipment, and retrieve items below counter height
