Are you a highly skilled Dental Hygienist who would like to work with an innovative implant company offering top compensation and benefits?Â
Job Purpose:Â
Promote dental health by completing implant and periodontal maintenance; providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.Â
Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time
Compensation:Â 105,000-$115,000 per year
Duties:Â
Work in partnership with the doctor to capture prosthodontic exam information to be used for implant treatment planningÂ
Work in partnership with our Sales Consultants to ensure that world class patient care is delivered and revenue targets are achievedÂ
Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocolsÂ
Prepares patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patientÂ
Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requestsÂ
Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instrumentsÂ
Selects materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient's oral healthÂ
Completes dental implant maintenance and periodontal maintenance by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth, from beneath gum margins, around abutments and restorations of implant crowns/bridges and around abutments and beneath full arch fixed implant restorationsÂ
Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gingiva and oral/peri implant mucosa using probes to locate periodontal and peri implant disease; and, to assess levels of recession; taking digital radiographsÂ
Cleaning and polishing removable appliancesÂ
Educates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next dental hygiene visitÂ
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidentialÂ
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsÂ
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsÂ
Conserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsÂ
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Â
Skills/Qualifications:Â
At least 1 year of experience as a hygienistÂ
Dental implant experience strongly desired particularly with fixed full arch prosthesesÂ
Commitment to providing world class patient experienceÂ
Excellent communication skillsÂ
Professional appearanceÂ
Use of Dental Technology, Dental Health Maintenance, Infection Control, Health Promotion and MaintenanceÂ
