Assessment Coordinator - FULL TIME


Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce that we have anticipated openings for a full-time Assessment Coordinator. Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over eighteen years. At Celebrate the Children our Assessment Coordinators are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our program philosophy.


RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR:   

  • Oversee and manage all state and internal assessment programs at Celebrate the Children (CTC).
  • Coordinate administration of New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) and Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) alternate assessments.
  • Manage all in-house assessment systems, including digital and computer-adaptive platforms, criterion-referenced and skills-based evaluation tools, and progress monitoring measures.
  • Oversee student portfolio development and documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with state regulations, testing protocols, accommodations, and test security requirements.
  • Plan and manage assessment logistics, scheduling, materials, and staff training.
  • Analyze and report assessment data to school leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as liaison between CTC and the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), assessment vendors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with school leadership, Child Study Team members, related service providers, and instructional staff to support individualized and developmentally appropriate assessment practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • Valid New Jersey instructional or educational services certification (e.g., Teacher of Students with Disabilities, LDTC, School Psychologist, or related credential).
  • New Jersey Supervisor Certification required.

Celebrate the Children is an EEOE M/F/V/D in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. 

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors. The salary provided is for a 10-month contracted position
