BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST - FULL TIME

Celebrate the Children, a state-approved private school in Denville, NJ for students with Developmental Disabilities ages 3-21, is pleased to announce that we have an immediate opening for full-time Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).

This is an exciting opportunity for a certified BCBA to join our cutting edge educational program. Our school utilizes the DIR/Floortime model. We are looking for a professional who is interested in aligning both Behavioral and Developmental Methodologies to support positive behavioral support and best outcomes. Applicant must be willing to learn DIR and implement into their work. 

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST:
  • Write Behavior plans that align with the students’ developmental profile.

  • Train Staff on how to take behavior data.

  • Train Staff in terms of how to respond to behavior and how to follow Behavior Plans

  • Analyze and graph data

  • Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate

  • Meet with parents in collaboration with Team Members to discuss behavior plan and collaboration with the home setting.

  • Safety Care certified

  • Strong ability to work with and train an interdisciplinary team

  • Strong foundations in understanding child development

  • Strong work ethic 

  • Demonstrates interest in continued learning and training 

  • Experience dealing with trauma and trauma informed approaches

  • Ability to lead and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess ability to think outside the box in terms of understanding behavior and functions of behavior. 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST:
  • Current New Jersey BCBA certification is required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably within school and clinical settings.
  • Experience working with neurodivergent students or students with developmental differences is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the DIR/Floortime model is a huge plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working within interdisciplinary teams. 
  • Highly organized and strong writing skills preferred

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors. The salary provided is for a 10-month contracted position.
