The member would be an integral member of the Value Acceleration team and responsible for business development in the international market.

Location: North-east of United States of America

Preferred if the candidate is closer to office in New Jersey at Denville. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for building the business of Specialty Ingredients in the assigned market 

Assigned Market: North-east & South of US 

  • Will be responsible on building opportunities pipeline for the Specialty Ingredients with our customers, and conversion into a sustainable business win. 
  • Ensure relationship management with customers across functions at Senior Levels, with more focus to build network across R&D / Formulators team at customers’ end. 
  • Connect, build network and drive strategic initiatives in product co-creations with Global Development Centres of Key Accounts
  • Identify, collect, analyze, and disseminate market intelligence on the new products to the strategic marketing and product management team
  • Feed the innovation funnel with new ideas or need gaps faced by customers to build new products for the region
  • Liaise with the Regional Sales & Application teams to drive the projects with customers -proactively support solving customer challenges and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain sales opportunities, leads, visit reports, and technical & formulation requests on the CRM tool, salesforce.
  • Provide support to customers on product applications, process optimization, and troubleshooting challenges related to the adoption of new products by the customer
  • Interact cross-functionally with Application & Technical Services team, Strategic Marketing team, Sales, Product Management team to achieve the customer support and market creation objectives. 
  • Provide training and know-how of concepts and formulations to customers and Channel Partner’s teams. 
  • Closely working with Channel partners in distribution driven market segments – setting their targets, defining go-to-market strategy, joint customer interactions, marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Drive the Marketing initiatives for the region with support from the Marketing team
  • Represent Galaxy at various Industry forums to build corporate brand, build industry network and drive strategic imperatives 

Role will involve travel for a minimum of 50% of time

Will have to attend office for minimum of 5 days per month beyond the above stated travel time.

Qualification:

Graduation or Masters in field of Chemical Technology / Engineering or Cosmetics Science with qualification in Management preferred. 

Experience / What the candidate brings to the table

  • Experience in the Home and Personal Care industry 
  • Connected with key R&D / Innovation members and decision makers across – Brands, Contract Manufacturers, Contract Development Organizations, etc. in the HPC industry across the North America region, preferably in North East market of North America. 
  • Relevant experience in Techno-Commercial or Specialty Ingredients Sales role 
  • Total Experience of 6-9 years
