Planner / BuyerÂ
We are looking for a Planner / Buyer to join our team. This on-site position is responsible for planning material needs, purchasing supplies, and helping ensure production runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Plan and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and sales.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain stock while controlling costs.
- Create Purchase Orders and Work Orders in the ERP system.
- Work with Production, Engineering, and Accounting to support daily operations.
- Communicate with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and track deliveries.
- Resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, product, and work order records.
- Build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing, planning, inventory, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
