JBF Express is hiring dependable Class A and Class B CDL drivers for local and regional deliveries throughout Western New York, the Northeast, and Southern Ontario.
This is a hands-on driving position involving a mix of cross-border freight, LTL deliveries, and seasonal tanker work. Our drivers are home nights, operate well-maintained equipment, and receive support from an experienced local dispatch team.

Position Details
- Full-time position
- Pay: $28- $32
- Typical schedule:Â M-F 5am- 9am Start times- 1st shift
- Local and regional routes
- Routes return home daily
- Regular travel between the United States and Canada
- Seasonal liquid tanker deliveries
- LTL pickup and delivery work
- Paid training on JBF’s customers, routes, equipment, and procedures
Class A Responsibilities
Class A drivers may operate:
- Day-cab tractors with dry van or tanker trailers
- Local and regional truckload and LTL routes
- Cross-border routes between Western New York and Southern Ontario
- Seasonal liquid tanker deliveries
- Other dedicated or regional routes based on customer demand
Class B Responsibilities
Class B drivers may operate:
- Straight trucks and other commercial vehicles
- Local and regional pickup-and-delivery routes
- Cross-border routes between Western New York and Southern Ontario
- Seasonal tanker equipment appropriate for the driver’s license and endorsements
- Multi-stop LTL and customer delivery routes
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned commercial vehicles
- Complete pickups and deliveries accurately and on schedule
- Cross the U.S.–Canada border regularly
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and shipment paperwork
- Properly secure and protect freight
- Assist with loading, unloading, pallet-jack use, and delivery handling when required
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, Canadian, customer, and company safety requirements
- Communicate delays, equipment concerns, and delivery issues promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
- Keep assigned equipment clean and report maintenance needs immediately
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain it before beginning tanker work
- Current DOT medical card
- Ability to legally enter Canada
- Valid passport, passport card, or enhanced driver’s license
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Successful completion of required background and driving-record checks
- Class A applicants must meet FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle freight as required
- Ability to use a pallet jack and perform frequent entry and exit from the vehicle
- Strong communication, dependability, and customer-service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of commercial driving experience
- Previous U.S.–Canada cross-border experience
- Tanker experience
- LTL, multi-stop, or route-delivery experience
- Experience with electronic logs and mobile dispatch applications
