Job Summary:
The primary role of this Technical Publication Coordinator is to maintain a complete record of all AIA technical documentation, acquire and update any and all technical documentation as needed, convert all technical documentation to a digital format, and make all technical documentation accessible through the AIA intranet.
Duties/Responsibilities:

- Maintain up-to-date record of all technical publications
- Acquire and update technical publications and support list as new revisions are released
- Provide proof of document currency to individual departments
- Make all technical documentation accessible through the AIA intranet
- Identify Part Numbers that are no longer supported
- Identify Part Numbers that could be added to New Capabilities
- Create and maintain contacts with OEMs in order to facilitate the acquisition of the most up-to-date technical documentation
- Review, edit, and maintain a digital record of all Engineering Orders
- Convert publications/documentation to a digital format
- Review trace documentation for compliance with FAA regulations
- Assist Quality Assurance with any other department tasks/projects as needed.
- Review, edit, and maintain a digital record of any other documentation generated by Quality Assurance
- Provide technical support to AIA staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Associate degree or technical training in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with internal departments
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and meet established deadlines
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and apply complex written information.
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate situations, identify appropriate solutions, and make decisions based on established procedures and available information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems used to create, edit, and maintain technical documentation
- Ability to use word processing and document management software to create, edit, organize, maintain, and retrieve electronic documentation
- Ability to perform documentation and quality assurance activities accurately and consistently in a regulated environment and in accordance with established procedures and applicable requirements
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Experience working in a Part 145 repair station
- Familiarity with military, aerospace, or commercial avionics communication equipment

Additional Information:
- This is a full-time non-exempt position. The hourly pay rate for this position is: $22.00-$30.00, DOE
- Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Background check is required
