Job Title: Automotive Technician

Location: On-Site

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $28-$35/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and complex repairs on light-duty vehicles, as well as passenger cars. Qualified candidates should have experience with engine and transmission replacements, timing belt services, engine diagnostics, and a variety of mechanical and electrical repairs. Must have required tools to diagnose and complete various repairs/maintenance.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics using advanced tools, electrical systems, and schematics
  • Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical components
  • Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, inspections)
  • Interpret technical manuals and ADAS data
  • Perform suspension work
  • Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, A/C, electrical, and computer systems
  • Use shop equipment (diagnostic machines, alignment systems, welding tools, etc.)
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, teammates, and customers regarding repair status and technical diagnoses
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of automotive and/or diesel mechanic experience
  • Must possess and maintain a personal set of tools required for automotive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with insurable record
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying conditions
  • ASE certification (A/B/C level) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Vocational/Technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with professionalism and strong communication skills
