Responsibilities include: Assisting with daily resident activities and events Encouraging resident participation and engagement Leading games, crafts, music, exercise, and social activities Decorating for holidays, parties, and special events Transporting residents to and from activities as needed Supporting emotional and social well-being of residents Maintaining activity supplies and activity areas Documenting resident participation appropriately Working closely with the Activities Director and healthcare team The ideal Activities Assistant for Derby Health and Rehab is positive, creative, patient, and passionate about senior care.
