Job Summary:

The pricing clerk is responsible for keeping the store end caps and seasonal decks and other areas clean, well stocked and appealing in accordance with the latest merchandising techniques.  This individual is also answerable for the store point of purchase signage and bin tags.  Helping the stock clerk price and put merchandise on the sales floor is also required.  This person must be a self-starter, diligent and responsible.

Qualifications:

1. Education:  Basic education which includes ability to competently read and write.
2. Training and Experience:  No formal training or experience is required but proven work performance in the same or similar field is preferred.
3. Job Knowledge:  No prior knowledge is necessary but merchandising skills are preferred.
4. Physical Demands:  Work requires some physical effort; involves standing, much walking and medium lifting (50 lb. boxes on a regular basis).  Works in an air-conditioned environment. (Important: This job is classified in the physical demands section of the job description [Form IV-31] as constant medium duty work and occasional heavy work.)
