We proudly serve the aerospace, medical, industrial, and space industries with a commitment to innovation, manufacturing excellence, and superior customer service.   This position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the internal Ultrasonic Testing program. The position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt. This position may also require occasional long hours and weekend work.   Job duties and responsibilities are below and include but are not limited to working collectively with production and Quality departments; Set up and standardize equipment, process products, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results. Being thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of a technique or method. Conduct systems performance checks in accordance with the applicable process procedure. Provide the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel. Qualifications High school diploma with relevant industry experience, or Associate’s degree in a technical discipline preferred. Being familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as used by the employer. When specified in the written practice, being capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures and submit to Responsible Level 3 for approval. Possessing basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. NAS 410 Level 2 accreditation for immersion ultrasonic inspection. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a Tac-Tic round bar inspection system preferred but not required.
