About the Quality Assurance Engineer Role:
Fireye, a leader in combustion and flame detection safety solutions that safeguard people and property, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician IIIÂ to join our team in Derry, New Hampshire.
Under supervision and following established procedures, provide technical support to Quality, Production, Operations, Manufacturing and Test Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance / Production Test / Operations
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic products involving a wide range of components.Â
- Work from schedules, specifications, test procedures, manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, sketches, Engineering Change Orders, computer programs and manufacturing instructions/procedures.
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance and calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
- Analyze Engineering documents, schematics and drawings and suggest modifications to the manufacturing and / or test engineers as it pertains to test / failures or troubleshooting improvements.
- Disassemble, assemble, de-solder and solder products as required in order to troubleshoot and repair products of mixed technology PTH and SMTD, in a timely manner and following quality (IPC-610) standards.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in support of test, PCB fault analysis / diagnostics experience and electronic assembly repairs.Â
- Test experience, strong knowledge of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, DVM, oscillators, data pulse, frequency, and signal generators.
- Associates degree in Electronics and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to own and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
