Job DetailsJob Location: DES MOINES, IA 50316Overview The Creative Director leads the vision, development and execution of the University’s visual and creative strategy. This role ensures a cohesive, compelling brand identity across all channels, supporting recruitment, advancement, athletics, academics and institutional reputation. The Creative Director collaborates with campus partners to deliver high-impact creative work. Duties and Responsibilities Define and oversee the University’s creative vision and brand standards Ensure consistency across print, digital, social media, video and environmental design Lead concept development for major projects (enrollment, fundraising, events) Maintain and evolve brand guidelines Partner with marketing leadership on integrated campaigns Work with University departments to design and produce communication materials to support their work Serve as a strategic advisor on visual storytelling Oversee budgets, timelines and vendor relationships Working Conditions Work environment is usually quiet. Consistent use of computer requiring keyboarding and ability to see colors and text on a screen for extended periods of time.
