 Job Summary:

The Grade personnel are responsible for safely inspecting and grading tires for resale and organizing inventory according to company standards. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading and stacking tires into trailers, containers, and delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques
  • Inspect tires for condition, wear, damage, and suitability for resale
  • Grade and sort tires based on established quality and pricing criteria
  • Stack, palletize, and organize tires in designated warehouse or dock locations
  • Accurately label and document tire grades and quantities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Mark tires accordingly and assign to proper final grade inspection
  • Assist with general dock and warehouse duties as needed

 Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy tires repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor dock environments, including varying temperatures
  • Experience in handling automotive or commercial tires - preferred
  • Basic knowledge of tire condition standards (tread depth, sidewall damage, defects) – preferred
  • The ability to work on an Outdoor Dock and warehouse setting
  • The ability to work in a Fast-paced, physically demanding work
  • Use of personal protective equipment is required


 Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior dock, warehouse, or manual labor experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate tire grading
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
