Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel / contract positions in Clive, IA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2052 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36 hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit:Â Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/sÂ
Shifts available:Â Nights, Days
Schedule:Â 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Any 3 days of the week, Every other weekend (Schedule are set in a two week block)
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
- Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health nursing experience: 2 years – Required
- Experience with either Adult or Adolescent/Child patient population - RequiredÂ
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of IA or Compact  - Required
- HWC Certification - Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
Job Description:
- Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Working in the assigned units where experience including Adult, Adolescent, and Children Behavioral Health units.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- The RN will maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
- The RN will provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.
- Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
- Notify physicians of significant changes in status
- The RN will ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and that all nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs.
