Licensed Journeymen and Apprentice Electricians

Currently hiring for licensed journeymen and apprentice electricians to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be responsible for installing, electrical systems and equipment within an data center setting. 

Working 50-60 hours per week.  

Pay is $64 an hour + $750-$900 per diem weekly available if over 60 miles away. 

MUST HAVE Valid Iowa Journeyman or Apprentice Electrical License or reciprocating license

Licensed Journeymen and Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
• Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
• Install cable tray, pull and terminate feeders, power, and control wiring.
• Install and connect switchgear, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Perform all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site safety requirements.

Licensed Journeymen and Apprentice Electrician Qualifications:

• Current active Iowa Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License, or the ability to reciprocate into Iowa before starting.
• Commercial and/or data center electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, and terminations.
• Ability to work 50–60 hours per week.
