MRI Technologist


Hours: No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Administer IV contrast as needed
  • Complete daily quality assurance and safety checks on MRI equipment
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Follow HIPAA, infection control, and MRI safety guidelines
  • Assist with ACR compliance and accreditation requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required
  • MRI Board Certification required
  • Current CRT license required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–4 years of MRI or radiology experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
