We are seeking a Research Scientistto join the Protein Core Facility Team. The successful candidate will develop protein production methods, produce recombinant proteins, lead technology-development and third-party collaboration projects, support project and data management, and help build a world-class protein core facility.Â
What You’ll Do:Â
Develop protein production methods and produce recombinant proteins.Â
Provide scientific and technical leadership in project design and execution.Â
Evaluate and implement emerging protein expression, purification, and analysis technologies.Â
Lead third-party collaborations from proposal development through project delivery.Â
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance business goals.Â
Expand internal capabilities and external partnerships.Â
Improve project management, data organization, and operational processes.Â
What Skills You Need:Â
PhD in biochemistry or related field.Â
At least five years of hands-on experience in recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization.Â
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.Â
Strong ethics, initiative, goal orientation, and execution.Â
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Â
Enthusiasm for hands-on protein work.Â
Industry experience preferred.Â
