Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center offering new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials. Every purchase and donation directly supports affordable housing initiatives—helping families build strength, stability, and self-reliance.

The eCommerce Coordinator assists in the day-to-day management of our eCommerce platforms, including product listings for both our stores, content management, customer support, packaging and shipping items as necessary.  This role plays a crucial part in supporting our online sales efforts and delivering an exceptional user experience.  This position will work closely with our store managers and marketing team.  


Core Responsibilities: 

  1. Execute online item set up for new and existing products, including categorization, product collections, imagery, and availability 
  2. Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the ecommerce system, performing regular audits and updates as needed 
  3. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and product information 
  4. Collaborate with marketing to utilize social media, advertising, and external sources to drive sales 
  5. Optimize collections and pages to create a great online user experience and maximize conversions 
  6. Work with store managers to maintain seamless customer experience from online shopping to in-store pickup 
  7. Work with other ReStore staff on identifying potential items for the online stores 
  8. Analyze ecommerce performance metrics and generate reports to track sales trends, customer behavior, and inventory turnover 
  9. Review online apps and plug-ins that can increase sales and create a better customer experience 
  10. Work with 3rd party vendors on integrations, updates and other changes to our site as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in ecommerce operations, ideally within a retail or consumer goods environment 
  • Product photography experience preferred 
  • Bachelors in retail, business, marketing or related field or equivalent work experience  
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and detail oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and time management skills  
  • Ability to work within a limited budget/with limited resources  
  • Committed to GDMHFH mission and environmental stewardship  
  • Energetic with entrepreneurial spirit  
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
