Retirement Ops Specialist 1

What You'll Do

As a Retirement Operations Specialist 1 in our Annuity Services area, you’ll work with business partners and our customers to coordinate new and existing annuity contracts. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who will thrive in an environment where the path may not always be clear. If you're a self-starter who enjoys problem solving, and working together as a team, all in the spirit of helping our customers, then we may have the right opportunity for you!

Here are a few examples of the things you'll do:

• Review and process annuity transactions, examples include new business, withdrawals, service requests, and death claims.
• Exercise strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and a positive experience for customers.
• Communicate with advisors via email to resolve outstanding issues.
• Work as a team to meet quality and timing goals.
• Implement problem solving techniques to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
• Identify and research unusual or complex situations and engage with others to resolve the request.
• Prioritize and process daily work to meet customer service goals.
• Share knowledge and information with team members to improve the overall effectiveness and development of the team.

Who You Are

• 1+ year of experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• High attention to detail and basic organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Skills that will help you stand out:

• Financial services industry experience.
• Strong math and interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office including excel.

Salary Range Information

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
