What You'll Do



We’re looking for a Funds Specialist to join our Law department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the coordination, preparation, formatting, and electronic submission of regulatory filings to the SEC using the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and submit SEC filings, including Forms N‑1A, N‑2, N‑14, Proxy Statements, and other required documents through the EDGAR system.
  • Format and convert documents into required SEC‑compliant formats (e.g., HTML, XBRL, iXBRL).
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance, to gather required disclosures and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure all filings are accurate, complete, and submitted in compliance with SEC regulations and deadlines.
  • Review and proofread filings for consistency, completeness, and adherence to SEC guidelines.
  • Maintain organized records of filings, correspondence, and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay current on SEC filing requirements, EDGAR updates, and regulatory developments.

Who You Are



Who You Are

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred,
  • 5+ years of experience working with SEC filings utilizing EDGAR filing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with SEC filing software, preferably Workiva.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Highly Preferred

  • 10+ years of SEC regulatory filing experience, particularly within investment funds or asset management environments.
  • Demonstrated experience taking ownership of filings and leading regulatory projects end‑to‑end.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams, build effective working relationships, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the confidence to take initiative and drive work forward.
  • A professional, approachable working style that contributes positively to team dynamics and a collaborative culture.

Salary Range Information



Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

$40.67 - $73.27 / hour

The following locations are examples of market-specific salary ranges across different geographies. 

  • Grand Island, NE / Wichita, KS: $40.67 – $54.95 per hour
  • Des Moines, IA / Tampa, FL: $42.93 – $58.00 per hour
  • Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX: $45.19 – $61.06 per hour
  • Chicago, IL / Denver, CO / Minneapolis, MN: $49.71 – $67.16 per hour
  • Los Angeles, CA / New York City, NY: $54.23 – $73.27 per hour

Time Off Program



Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
