Supervisory Responsibilities •    None Essential Functions •    Use a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods between loading docks, storage areas, and work areas. •    Sort materials and supplies and prepare them according to work orders. •    Report any questionable conditions to the Receiving Clerk Lead, Production Manager, or Shop Foreman. •    Complete the safety inspection of the forklifts, as required. •    Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.  •    Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely.   •    Follow the prescribed safety regulations.   QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities  •    Must be at least 18 years old •    Maintain current Forklift Driver certification •    Good organizational skills •    Strong attention to safety  Education and Experience •    High School Diploma or equivalent •    Previous warehouse experience preferred Physical Requirements •    This position will regularly require the ability to sit, stand, bend, reach and lift a minimum of 40 pounds. •    This position will regularly require the stamina to climb on and off of the forklift machine throughout the day. •    Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.   Other Duties The job description is an overview of the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of the position.
