Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
  • Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with safety regulations
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Must be flexible and willing to travel between up to 4 practice locations to support team and patient needs
  • Previous experience/knowledge in a dental or medical setting is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor
  • Active dental assistant certification preferred, not required
  • Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
