Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â
Build an excellent rapport with all key customers, understanding their needs and delivering to their requirements.  Â
Respond by phone, fax or e-mail to customer including requests for quotes, pricing, and availability of product.Â
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.Â
Maintain relationships with key customers to support ongoing business and enhance customer satisfaction.Â
Fill orders by verifying and entering information, process orders and expedite shipment when necessary, communicate expected delivery date and other order-related updates.Â
Develop accounts by checking the customer’s buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.Â
Ensure that stocking levels are appropriate, and that stock is sold regularly to avoid inventory holding cost. Continually check that set levels are correct for forthcoming anticipated sales.Â
Deliver revenue against Quarterly outlooking by forecasting numbers with the External Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure Revenue and Material Margin outlooks are accurate, and any issues are highlighted early on in order to react appropriately.Â
Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identify sales opportunities.Â
Maintain and improve quality results by following standards, recommending improved policies and procedures.Â
Keep current with technological and competitive developments, update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions, and participating in educational opportunities. Â
Assist customers and sales representatives with any complaints.Â
Contribute to a team environment by sharing responsibility in support of the outside sales function and support of the outside sales personnel. Â
Provide direct technical support to regional managers, representatives, and customers.Â
Support company continuous improvement initiatives.Â
Other duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications:Â
4-year technical degree preferred.Â
High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel (advanced Excel skills preferred.Â
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with multiple stakeholders and customers.Â
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines as assigned.Â
High analytical abilities leading to competent problem solving and logical decision making.Â
Good hands-on organization skills - must be able to plan and prioritize workload using their own skills and initiative.Â
Compensation Information:
66,000-80,000
