Responsibilities:

  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, evaporator coolers, condensers, and HVAC systems. 
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining plumbing fixtures, electrical circuits, mechanical, and sanitation equipment.
  • Ensuring optimal condition of the facility by overseeing all cooking and production equipment, including convection ovens, tilt skillets, fryers, ranges, flat top grills, mixers, heat sealers, flight type and door type dish machines.
  • Documenting repair history and managing equipment inventory through a comprehensive work order system.
  • Procuring materials, coordinating repair timelines, and managing costs effectively.
  • Adheres to safety protocols when working with both high and low voltage electrical equipment.
  • Collaborating with manufacturers and vendors for specialized repair needs as necessary, ensuring seamless communication and scheduling.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment maintenance, or a related field, with knowledge of refrigeration and electrical requirements. 
  • HVAC preferred. Electrical & Plumbing certifications preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing as required.
  • Able to work independently or under supervision; demonstrating punctuality and diligence.
  • Proficient in utilizing laptops and phones for effective communication via emails, text messages, phone calls, and internal work order management systems.
  • Exhibits strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately through email.
  • Open to domestic and international travel if necessary.
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
