Dates: August 18, 2025 April 10, 2026 (possibility of extension)
Hours: 7:40 a.m. 2:55 p.m. (MondayFriday) and 8:15 a.m. 3:35 p.m. (MondayFriday)
Pay Rate: $45.00-$50.00 p/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to provide long-term leave coverage across two school sites in Des Plaines, IL. This is a unique opportunity to support students during the 20252026 school year. Ideal candidates will be well-versed in evaluations, behavioral supports, and collaborative student interventions.
Responsibilities:
Complete initial and reevaluations for students with disabilities.
Serve as 504 Plan Manager at the school, including evaluations and facilitating plan reviews
Assist in the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
Collaborate with social workers and other team members in the problem-solving process for academic and behavioral needs
Participate in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to support student success
Requirements:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
Previous school-based experience preferred
