Job Description:

Were seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a long-term leave assignment in Des Plaines, IL. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on students communication development in a supportive school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and write assessment reports

  • Collect and analyze data to track student progress on IEP goals

  • Collaborate with teachers, IEP teams, parents, and school staff

  • Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement

  • Experience working in school settings is preferred
