Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Deshler NE Facility Corporate Headquarters - Deshler, NE 68340The purpose of the Outside Shipper/Receiver/Parts Bundler position is to verify the correctness of incoming shipments; to insure distribution of received materials to the appropriate department; and to gather, prepare, stage, and load finished goods for deliveries onto outbound trailers.  Will also identify and bundle irrigation pipe and will stage, box and load international shipments. Must be capable of determining accuracy and condition of inbound deliveries and outbound customer shipments.  May be required to reconcile materials received to purchase orders within the computer system. Must be able to accurately identify, count, transfer and place component part inventories at designated locations. Must be able to demonstrate a positive company image to outside entities as may be required to interact with transportation and freight companies. Must be able to use hand and power tools correctly if required. Must be able to run a forklift and secure a forklift license if required. Must be familiar and cognizant of safety guidelines throughout the company. Must maintain a good attendance and punctuality record. Must be able to read and interpret load lists, packing lists, bill of lading, and shipping paperwork. Must be able to use and understand various specialized measuring tools and equipment unique to the job i.e. staplers, shrink-wrap, paper machines, chainsaws, and other ordinary hand tools. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, as they may interact with other departments, and management of the company, and the general public. Must be able to work with limited supervision and show/demonstrate initiative, tact, good judgement and sound reasoning. Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the position. Must have neat and legible handwriting. May require the ability to learn and use the company’s computer system to identify company and customer’s trailers.
