DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting Guests - Create a positive first impression by warmly welcome guests as they arrive.
- Managing Reservations - Handle reservations efficiently to ensure that seating arrangements are organized and accommodating to guests.
- Seating Guests - Escort guests to their tables, present the menus to the guests, and provide initial information about services, food, & drinks.
- Maintaining Waitlists - Keep an accurate waitlist during busy periods and communicate estimated wait times to guests.
- Answering Inquiries - Respond to guests inquiries & concerns promptly & professionally in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Supporting Staff - Collaborate with servers & kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Monitoring Dining Room Activity - Observe the dining area to assess guest flow & table turnover, making adjustments as needed to optimize seating & service.
Customer Service Skills - A friendly demeanor and the ability to positively engage with guests to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Organizational Skills - Ability to manage reservations & waitlists efficiently, ESPECIALLY during PEAK hours.
Communication Skills - Strong verbal communication skills to interact with guests AND staff effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to handle guest complaints calmly & professionally.
Flexibility - Willingness to work in shifts & adapt to the fast-paced environment of a restaurant.
PAY:
Starts at $15/hr.
SCHEDULE:
Part-time
Expected hours are Monday- Friday between 10:45am - 4:00pm
***More hours may be available if you are performing well in the role***
