Job Title: Vacation Home Inspector, Destin Pointe
Reports To:Â General Manager, Destin Pointe
Summary:Â Attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to excellence is a must for this most important role! The Vacation Home Inspector is responsible for the overall cleanliness and visual presentation of all our properties. This role will ensure proper amount and use of inventory and supplies, perform minor maintenance, and record inspection results, communicating deficiencies to cleaning vendors for immediate resolution and improvement.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Perform light home maintenance such as changing light bulbs, air filters, troubleshooting Wi-Fi/cable, etc.Â
- Regularly inspect owner arrivals for quality assurance
- Work with owners/guests to rectify any concerns related to their unit
- Ensure work orders are submitted for any maintenance concerns
- Determine issues with housekeeping efforts and provide staff members with feedback regarding quality management
- Prepare linens and amenity bags each day and have them ready for the following day
- Perform inspections of properties to ensure they are guest/owner ready per company standards, and work directly with cleaning vendors to uphold those standards and hold them accountable
- Keep linen and amenity closet always stocked and clean
- Coordinate the return of lost and found items with office staff
- Deliver items to guests on an as needed basis
- Answer and assist guests with general questions
- Communication with owners/guests may be necessary at times
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsÂ

Education and Experience RequirementsÂ
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2 years’ experience as housekeeper or housekeeping inspector required

- Highly responsive and reliable
- Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to handle multiple requests and operational demands with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism, operating often with time sensitive deadlines
- Must have reliable smartphone and can utilize required phone APP systems to communicate images and messages
- Ability to follow company standards and property checklists
- Excellent computer and writing skills

License Requirements Valid driver’s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
Rules and Regulations All employees must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and Federal authorities, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment necessary to perform the job in a safe manner and will follow all safety rules per the Company’s Safety Policy.Â
Language Skills Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of visitors.Â
Physical Demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly walk, pushing a linen/supply cart regularly upon occasion; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee will stand; walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift to 40 pounds regularly. Work Environment The physical environment requires the employee to work mostly inside in climate-controlled conditions.
