Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machinists for projects located in the Sheboygan Falls, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

Program, set up, and operate a Giddings & Lewis Horizontal RT 1250 with a Fanuc 310i Model A controller using FeatureCam 2025
Create setups and fixturing
Select appropriate tooling
Read and interpret blueprints
Manufacture parts to exact specifications
Program setup and run variety of machine tools to manufacture parts according to specifications
Check all diameters and dimensions
Study blueprint and plan efficient way to manufacture parts
Use overhead cranes to lift large parts or materials safely
Measure parts using precision measuring equipment
Maintain machine shop equipment
Perform machine maintenance
Assist in establishing procedures to manufacture parts more efficiently
Deburrs parts when time allows

Requirements

You must have a high school diploma
3+ years of machinist experience
Perform metric conversions
Strong working knowledge of mazatrol or other machine software
Read and understand blueprints specifications and routings
