JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Performs scheduled preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Fabricates equipment components, workstations and fixtures.
  • Modifies equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Responds as needed to emergency situations outside of regularly scheduled hours.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Able to perform all small maintenance tasks.
  • Has general knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, motor controls, and conveyor systems. 
  • Pneumatics
    • Rebuild air valves
    • Rebuild air cylinders
    • Ability to run air lines
    • Repair of air compressors
    • Repair air guns and tools
    • Ability to work on hydraulic equipment
    • Demonstrate through knowledge of troubleshooting pneumatics and hydraulic equipment
  • Electrical
    • Ability to troubleshoot all electrical problems
    • Ability to install electrical piping and wiring in a workmanship manner
    • Run and install communication and data lines
    • Thorough knowledge of NEC
    • Abilities to size up wire and calculate circuits for proper installation
    • Ability to use the following equipment: Meggers, Scope, Multi Meters, Circuit Tracers, and Laser Temperature Probe
    • Demonstrate through knowledge on electrical installations and of electrical theory
  • Welding (Able to use a Mig Welder)
  • PLC Experience preferred
  • Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Maintenance Supervisor.
