The Electrician may also install or service lighting, intercom systems, and electrical control systems.
This position works under the general supervision of an Electrician foreman, Electrician Sub-Foreman, or the Division Director of Facilities Management.
Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience and can expect a salary of $60,000 per year.

Purpose/Description

The Electrician Journeyman will be responsible for all the duties listed, but not limited to the following: perform electrical work at the journeyman's level while installing, maintaining, altering and repairing of electrical systems and equipment. This includes repairing of electrical wiring and fixtures. The Electrician will ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes, may install or service lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems and will work under the general supervision of an Electrician foreman, and/or the Electrician Sub-Foreman, or the Division Director of Facilities Management.
